Avanti Case Study
On 18 April 2021, Avanti Consulting applied Elioxx PV self cleaning coating test in a solar power plant.
The application was made on board 1(A) below, the same circuit as the other 3 boards that served as the test control group:
• SG110CX_001_001 (514028)/ Chain on string 10
(A) Daily results were calculated for each panel from 07/02/2021 to 31/07/2021 to capture performance before and after of Elioxx PV self cleaning coating application.
The results found were as follows:
Conclusions:
1. The panels without Elioxx PV self cleaning coating had an average energy output of 6.7973 Kw per day. Even without the application of Elioxx, there was an increase in production of 6.58% (0.4475 kW) to 7.2448 kW per day, because of a cleaning of the panels.
2. Test panels that were coated achieved an average energy production of 6.8820 kW per day before application. After the application of PV self cleaning coatings, the daily production increased by 16.10% (1.1077 kW), an increase of 9.52% higher than the non coated panels (6.58%) after their cleaning, reaching an average of 7.9897 kW. 3. The panels that were coated had a higher output than the others non-coated ones, producing 1.25 % (0.0847 kW) more than the average. However, this difference increased sharply after Elioxx when it started producing 0.7449 kW more, which is 10.28% more than the average on the non-coated but cleaned, an increase of 9.03 percentage points.
